Whats up with the line tool in CS3?

Exactly what the title says. The line tool in cs3 seems impossible to work with. Feet are extremely huge and its impossible to get the right angles because it keeps snaping it at 45,90,135,180 degrees ect. Is there a way to disable that? And is the line tool in Flash 8 better.

I really need help with these things. Its starting to look like i really need Flash 8, not cs3. Although they dont sell 8 anymore because Macromedia doesnt own it anymore. How am i supposed to get 8?

the linetools are the same in cs3 and flash 8.

Ok cool, but how are people using Flash 8 getting the small feet. In CS3 you get uber bulby ones.

Look guys, its easy to get both of them for free.

Anyway dude, I had this problem.

You have to turn off all snapping except for objects. Then you have to zoom in, cause the more you zoom in, the smaller you make the feet. Then if you want big sticks just use the v-cam.
