need help...

in actionscript 2, how can i get a button to bring me to the next scene? (i suck at actionscript )

or,if you named your scene:

gotoAndPlay("scene name here with quotes", 1);
}

the number "1" is the frame where it starts playing.

actually, no didn't work i typed

gotoAndPlay("scene2", 1);
}

and it just goes back to scene 1, frame 1.

you must write the name of the scene exactly how you named it......that means:

capital letters, spaces between the words and stuff.
(if the name is incorrect it ALWAYS will play scene one)

try it again and post the results. =)

Just use his first code, if your trying to go from scene 1 to scene 2.
